Users
Know more about prepaid card users.
A User represents the individual or entity that owns prepaid wallets and cards. Every prepaid instrument on Falcon is always associated with exactly one user. Users form the compliance and ownership boundary for prepaid programs.
User Lifecycle
The lifecycle of a prepaid user typically includes:
- User creation
- Identity verification (KYC)
- Wallet provisioning
- Card issuance
- Ongoing usage
- Suspension or closure
Each stage introduces additional capabilities as compliance requirements are met.
User States
Users transition through multiple states:
- Created
- KYC Pending
- KYC Verified
- Restricted
- Closed
User state directly governs whether wallets can be loaded, cards can transact, or channels remain active.
Responsibilities of the User Entity

- The anchor for KYC and regulatory compliance
- The owner of all balances and transactions
- The boundary for limits, channels, and controls
All prepaid operations ultimately resolve back to the user.
