Cards

Know more about prepaid cards.

A prepaid card is the physical or virtual instrument used to access funds stored in a prepaid wallet. Cards themselves do not store value; they are authorisation instruments that draw funds from the linked wallet.

Card Types

  • Virtual cards for instant digital usage
  • Physical cards for POS and ATM usage

Card Attributes

Each card includes:

  • Unique PAN and expiry
  • Security credentials (CVV)
  • Status indicators
  • Channel configuration
  • Spend and velocity rules

Card Lifecycle

Cards move through well-defined states:

  • Issued
  • Activated
  • Temporarily blocked
  • Permanently hotlisted
  • Replaced or closed

Card state directly affects transaction eligibility.
